KBLSS was founded in Brisbane in 2006 by a small group of language lovers who noticed that there weren’t many Asian language courses available in Brisbane.
Fun fact: Kawabe Learning Studio is now KB Lingual Studio, because it’s easier to remember and to say. In the original Japanese, Kawabe is pronounced “Ka-wa-beh”, but this is often twisted by the Australian accent into “Ka-wa-bee”.
